Tews Technologies TVME200 is a 6U VMEbus carrier that can accommodate up to 4 single size or 2 dual size industrial packaging(IP)modules,used to build modular,flexible,and cost-effective I/O solutions for process control,medical systems,telecommunications,and traffic control applications.

TVME200 is a 6U VME bus carrier that can accommodate up to four single size or two dual size Industrial Package(IP)modules,used to build modular,flexible,and cost-effective I/O solutions suitable for process control,medical systems,telecommunications,and traffic control.TVME200 is designed based on the VME bus specification ANSI/VITA 1-1994 and the industrial grouping logic interface specification ANSI/VITA4-1995.It ensures compatibility with a wide range of IndustriPack in VMEbus systems.The IndustriPack I/O and ID spaces are mapped to VME A16/D16 spaces.IP storage space is mapped to VME A24 or A32 space.Support D08 and D16 access.If mapped in VME A24 space,the size of the required memory space is configurable.In VME A32 space,each IP module has a fixed space of 8M bytes.The strobe signals of all IP modules can be accessed through the 4-pin jumper block on TVME200.DMA.32-bit access and 32 MHz operation are not supported.Four 50 pin,0.1 inch flat ribbon cable connectors installed on the front panel of TVME200 can access all IP I/O lines.Provides status indicators for IP access,+5V and+/-12V.A set of 16 bit rotary switches allows easy configuration of VME short I/O and memory addresses.The interrupt routing from the IP slot to the VME IRQ can be accomplished in two ways:through software programmable or by selecting predefined groups through rotary switches.The IP power cord is protected by a self-healing fuse and subjected to RF filtering.The working temperature range is-40°C and+85°C.In addition,on TVME200-20R,all I/O lines of”IP D”are routed to VME P2,and the 14 user selectable I/O lines of”IP C”can be routed to VME through the jumper field P2.
