The TU810V1 3BSE013230R1 ABB module termination unit serves as a module terminator for connecting field wiring to I/O module 1.

TU810V1 3BSE013230R1 is a 16 channel 50 V compact modular terminal unit(MTU)for S800 I/O.The MTU is a passive unit used to connect field wiring to the I/O module.It also includes a part of the ModuleBus.

The MTU assigns the ModuleBus to the I/O module and the next MTU.It also generates the correct address of the I/O module by moving the outgoing position signal to the next MTU.

Two mechanical buttons are used to configure MTU for different types of I/O modules.This is only a mechanical configuration and will not affect the functionality of the MTU or I/O module.Each button has 6 positions and a total of 36 different configurations.
