The PXI-7340 NI motion controller is a high-quality motion control solution that provides advanced functionality and seamless integration with NI software and hardware platforms.

The PXI-7340 NI motion controller allows users to utilize up to four axis synchronous and coordinated motion control under preemptive,multitasking,and constant conditions.This model provides an advanced dual processor architecture,combining a 32-bit CPU with a digital signal processor(DSP)and custom FPGA,giving the motion controller outstanding capabilities.The FIFO bus interface and powerful capacity set enable fast communication while offloading complex motion capacity from the host PC to optimize framework execution.The PXI 7340 has 8 analog inputs and 4 analog outputs.Its maximum update rate is 62.5 us/axis.

The NI PXI-7340 motion controller utilizes DSP for all closed-loop control,including position tracking,PID closed-loop control calculation,and motion trajectory generation.The DSP chip is supported by custom FPGAs and can perform fast encoder interfaces,position capture and breakpoint functions,motion I/O processing,and step pulse generation for hard real-time functionality.The CPU inserted into this model runs a multitasking,continuous working framework,and handles host communication,command processing,multi axis interpolation,error handling,universal digital I/O,and overall motion framework integration capabilities.

Embedded firmware depends on the installed RTOS components and provides ideal framework execution in different motion applications.Sports tasks are organized.The order of task execution depends on the needs of each task,the condition of the entire motion framework,I/O or other framework events,and real-time clock.

PXI 7340 uses NI Motion driver software that is compatible with software to run software packages/application development environments(ADES),such as LabVIEW,LabWindows/CVI,Microsoft Visual C++,Microsoft Visual Basic,and AKD WorkBench software.You can use the Measurement&Automation Explorer(MAX)tool to configure device hardware.
