PXI-4461 is a multifunctional sound and vibration module that provides precise measurement capabilities for a wide range of applications.

PXI-4461(part number:779687-01)is suitable for sound and vibration applications.This module provides two channel dynamic signal generation and two channel acquisition.One of the six gain settings can be used to design the input range.PXI 4461 integrates programmable and configurable AC/DC coupling and IEPE regulation functions.NI PXI-4461 integrates equipment and programming to accurately estimate receivers,accelerometers,and different sensors with large dynamic ranges.The common applications of this module include audio testing,automotive noise,vibration and acoustic roughness(NVH),and machine condition monitoring.

The NI PXI 4461 module supports two types of AI terminal arrangements:differential and pseudo differential.The term pseudo differential refers to the presence of a 50Ωresistor between the external BNC casing and the chassis frame.The analog input channels on this module also have digital filters to prevent aliasing.Users can arrange NI NI PXI-4461 input channels on each channel.Therefore,users can configure one channel as differential mode and another channel as pseudo differential mode.Then,users can arrange channels based on the reference method of the signal source or the device under test(DUT).

The acquisition clock of the NI PXI 4461 PXI sound and vibration module can be synchronized with other devices in the user system to achieve mixed signal applications.This module provides digital and analog triggering functions.The analog input channel has a 24 bit resolution analog-to-digital converter,which can simultaneously sample at a software programmable rate for conventional audio applications.For example,one of these rates is 44.1 kS/s for CD players.Another example is 48.0 kS/s,which is the rate used in digital recorders and other types of digital audio devices

PXI-4461 is designed specifically for sound and vibration applications.This module provides dual channel dynamic signal generation and dual channel acquisition,as well as six gain settings to configure the input range.PXI-4461 also features software configurable AC/DC coupling and IEPE conditioning.The hardware and software included in PXI-4461 are suitable for microphones,accelerometers,and other sensors with ultra wide dynamic ranges,enabling precise measurements.
