The IS200STCIH2A GE contact input terminal board converts signals from external devices into signals that can be recognized by the PLC.

E1 and E2 are labels on the terminal rings on both sides of the terminal board.

A 37 pin(female)D-type connector and a three position female plug are located opposite the terminal block on the circuit board.

On the short side of the board,there are two circular holes cut in the board,one facing each other.There are over 80 resistors,capacitors,diodes,and an integrated circuit on the board.

IS200STCIH2A is a Mark VI series simplex contact input terminal board developed by GE.Simplex contact input terminal board is a small contact input terminal board designed for DIN rail or flat mounting.The board accepts 24 contact inputs and has nominal 24,48,and 125 V DC excitation from external sources.The contact input has noise suppression function,which can prevent surges and high-frequency noise.The PAIC I/O pack is compatible with this module.The I/O package is inserted into the D-type connector and communicates with the controller via Ethernet.Only supports simplex systems.

The function and onboard signal regulation are the same as TBCI,but adjustments have been made for 24,48,and 125 V DC excitation.The input excitation ranges are 16 to 32 V dc,32 to 64 V dc,and 100 to 145 V dc,respectively.The threshold voltage is 50%of the excitation voltage.This figure shows the contact sensing circuit.The contact input current of the first 21 circuits is limited to 2.5 mA,and the contact input current of circuits 22 to 24 is limited to 10 mA.

By resetting the polymer positive temperature coefficient fuse,the current limit of the 24 V DC power supply is 0.5 A.Filters can reduce high-frequency noise and suppress surges on each input near the signal input point.The discrete input voltage signal is routed to the I/O processor,which converts it into a digital signal and sends it to the controller.
