GE Fanuc/Emerson Automation IC693CPU320 is a PACSystem RX3i processor module. This module occupies two (2) slots, with a processor speed of 1GHz and a typical scan rate of 0.047 milliseconds per 1000 Boolean instructions. This processor has two (2) serial communication ports that support RS232 and RS485 communication standards.

IC695CPU320 is a GE Fanuc/Emerson automation controller module. This module belongs to the PACSystems RX3i controller platform. This controller can be used for effective control of industrial machines and processes. It has the function of high-speed data transmission through peripheral component interconnect (PCI) slots and supports a serial backplane for migrating 90-30 series I/O systems.

 

IC695CPU320 has two (2) built-in communication ports and supports RS232 and RS485 communication standards. These communication ports communicate with programming workstations, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and monitoring and data acquisition (SCADA) systems using the Ninety Series Protocol (SNP). This controller can be installed in the Rx3i 12-slot universal backplane with catalog number IC695CHS012 and the Rx3i 16-slot universal backplane with catalog number IC695CHS016.

 

IC695CPU320 has an internal Celeron M processor with a processing speed of 1GHz. It contains 65 MB of user memory, and its contents are retained by the 90-30 auxiliary battery modules of the lithium intelligent battery series with catalog numbers IC695ACC302 and IC693ACC302, respectively. In addition, it also has 64 MB of non volatile flash user memory. In addition, these user memories support reallocating custom sized data and program memory. It supports up to 512 program blocks, with a maximum size of 128 KB for a single block.

 

IC695CPU320 supports most 90-30 series PLC I/O modules. This feature provides flexibility and is particularly useful and beneficial when upgrading traditional 90-30 series to modern PACSystems RX3i controller platforms. This allows for phased migration, where the controllers and logic of the existing 90 to 30 PLCs are first migrated, followed by the I/O modules. PACSystem RX3i supports firmware modification.

 

Various accessories can be ordered for the IC695CPU320 module, including RS-232 cables (such as IC200CBL001 cables), smart lithium batteries (such as IC695ACC302 batteries), GE series 90-30 auxiliary battery modules (such as IC693ACC302 modules), standard power supplies with a rated voltage of 120 volts to 240 volts AC, 125 volts DC, and 40 watts.

 

The GE Fanuc IC695CPU320 module is capable of executing 1000 Boolean instructions within 0.047 milliseconds. This module supports 512 program blocks. The maximum size of a program block is 128 KB. Two embedded communication ports are provided on the module, namely RS-485 and RS-232 ports. The supported serial protocols include SNP, serial I/O, and Modbus RTU slave protocols.

 

The IC695CPU320 module adopts the SNP slave protocol and communicates with the programmer and HMI through a serial port. This module communicates with the intelligent option module and I/O through a dual backplane bus. The environmental specifications include a working temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The IC695CPU320 module supports both serial backplane bus and RX3i backplane bus. It draws 1 ampere of 3.3V DC from the backplane and 1.2 ampere of 5V DC from the backplane. Six LEDs are provided on the front panel to update the module status.
