I.Product Overview

BENTLY 3500/25 is a half-height,dual-channel module that is primarily used to deliver keyphasor signals to monitor modules in a 3500 rack.When the keyphasor mark on the shaft is aligned with the keyphasor sensor,the module detects the alignment using a magnetic sensor or proximity probe and converts the input signal into a digital keyphasor signal.

II.Main Functions

Keyphasor signal conversion:Able to convert the input signal when the keyphasor mark on the shaft is aligned with the sensor into a digital keyphasor signal.

Dual-channel design:Each module has two channels and can process two keyphasor signals simultaneously.

Enhanced processing capabilities:3500/25 provides higher keyphasor signal processing capabilities than previous keyphasor modules.

Backward compatibility:Maintains full backward compatibility in form,fit,and function with existing keyphasor modules for legacy systems.

3.Configuration and Installation

Pairing Configuration:

Pairing is required in two consecutive monitoring positions in the upper/lower half-slot position or two half-slot positions.

Four Keyphasor modules will provide four output channels and accept four main and four spare input channels(one per module).

Three Keyphasor modules can also be set up,two coupled modules and one non-paired module.

Input Signal Specifications:

Magnetic pickup or proximity probe sensor can send up to two sensor signals to each keyphasor module.

The input signal range of non-isolated I/O modules is+0.8V to 21.0V or+5V to-11V(isolated I/O modules).

Signals outside this range are limited by the module internally.

Passive magnetic pickups(3.3Hz)require shaft speeds of more than 200rpm.

Mounting Adapter:In order to be installed in a full-height slot,the half-height main module requires a unique mounting adapter.Users can insert the main module into any of the 14 accessible slots.There can be only two main modules in each rack,located in the top and bottom half slots.
