BENTLY 3500/15 is an AC/DC power supply module developed by Bently Nevada.The following is a detailed introduction to the product:

I.Product Overview

BENTLY 3500/15 is a half-height module that must be installed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack.The main function of this power supply module is to convert the input AC voltage to an acceptable DC voltage,or directly convert the accepted DC voltage to power other 3500 modules.It can accept a wide range of inputs and convert them to the voltage required by the 3500 modules.

II.Product Features

Compatibility:The BENTLY 3500/15 power supply module is compatible with the 3500 series mechanical protection system,but it should be noted that the Legacy 3500 AC power supply,high-voltage AC PIM and low-voltage AC PIM are not compatible with universal AC power supplies and PIMs;similarly,the Legacy 3500 high-voltage and low-voltage DC power supplies and PIMs cannot be used with high-voltage and low-voltage DC power supplies and PIMs.

Redundant design:In the 3500 rack,one or two power supplies of any combination of AC and DC can be accommodated.When two power supplies are installed,the upper power supply acts as the primary power supply and the lower power supply acts as the backup power supply.As long as one power supply is installed,removing or installing the second power supply module will not affect the operation of the rack.

Wide Input Range:This power supply module is able to accept a wide range of input voltages and convert them to voltages that other 3500 modules can accept.

Over-Range Protection:For all power supply types,low voltage will not damage the power supply or PIM.However,an over-range voltage will open the fuse on the PIM.
