Woodward’s 8200-1300 provides digital control for steam turbines.It is one of several digital governors in the 505 turbine control series.This device uses a standard LVDC(18-32 VDC)power supply.
This device can be used in non hazardous locations.It is also applicable to Class I,Div.2,A/B/C/D group positions.This device is usually installed with stranded copper field wiring with a rated temperature of at least 75 degrees Celsius.
The 8200-1300 can control single or double split actuator steam turbines.It can be configured as part of the factory DCS(Distributed Control System)or used as a standalone unit.It is designed with five PID controllers,including speed/load PID controllers,cascade PID controllers,and AUX1 and AUX2 PID controllers.This device provides an operator control panel with a graphical control panel display and keyboard.This panel includes emergency stop buttons,start,stop,ESC,and home buttons,numeric keypad,up/down toggle buttons,and input keys with up/down and left/right buttons.There are also four LEDs on the left side of the panel,including CPU health,IO lock,summary alarm,and summary trip.
The 8200-1300 internally contains a watchdog timer and a CPU fault circuit to monitor the operation of the microprocessor and its memory.
