The Bentley Nevada 1900/65A Universal Equipment Monitor is designed to continuously monitor and protect equipment used in various applications and industries.This monitor has a low cost and is an ideal solution for general-purpose machines and processes,benefiting from continuous monitoring and protection.

The 1900/65A provides four sensor inputs and four temperature inputs.The software can configure each sensor input to support 2 and 3 wire accelerometers,velocity sensors,or adjacent sensors.Each temperature input supports E,J,K,and T type thermocouples and 2 or 3 wire RDS.

The 1900/65A provides 6 relay outputs,4 4-20MA recorder outputs,and a dedicated buffered output.Users can use the 1900 configuration software to configure relay contacts to open or close based on the OK,alarm,and danger states of any channel or channel combination,and provide data from any channel or variable when outputting from any recorder.The dedicated buffer output can provide a signal for each sensor input.

The gateway option of MODBUS allows the monitor to directly provide static variables,status,event lists,time and date information to any MODBUS client,including distributed control systems,monitoring control and data acquisition systems,programmable logic controllers(PLCS),or System 1(programmable software).The monitor uses internal counters and MODBUS client/master time references to generate time and date information.Users can upgrade monitors that do not require a MODBUS gateway by ordering a 1900/01 communication upgrade(see the ordering information section).The 1900/65A supports MODBUS communication through Ethernet and software configurable RS232/485 serial ports.

Users create configuration files by using software running on laptops or PCs and download the files to the monitor through a built-in Ethernet connection,thereby defining monitor operations and MODBUS gateway register mapping.The 1900/65A will permanently store configuration information in non volatile memory and can upload this information to a PC for modification.

The 1900/65A supports an optional display/keyboard to view channel information or make minor configuration changes.This enables 1900/65a to run as a standalone package.If needed,users can install a 75 meter(250 foot)monitor from the monitor module.
