The Allen Bradley 1769-it6 is a programmable controller module that is part of the compact I/O series.This module is a thermocouple and millivolt input module with six(6)channels compatible with thermocouple sensors J,K,T,E,R,N,S,B,N,C,and CJC sensors,receiving+/-50MV and+/10MV,with an operating range of-50-+50MV and-10-10MV.It is compatible with both CommScope and Microlux controllers.

The Allen Bradley 1769-it6 thermocouple/mv input module is a small device that measures thermocouples and millivolt signals.These measurement data are digitally converted and stored in the form of analog data in any combination of up to six thermocouples or millivolt analog sensors.Provide high,low,and open circuit detection and indication.

The 1769-IT6 compact input module has 6 input channels and 2 CJC sensors.It has a type of triangular sigma converter,and the response speed of each channel is related to the input filter and configuration.It communicates with the controller through a bus interface,which also receives 5-24V DC system power.The maximum current of the 1769-it6 module is:5 V DC 100 mA,24 V DC 40 mA.When the power is turned on,the input module performs automatic calibration.Automatic calibration can also be performed every five minutes.

1769-IT6 is a 508UL listed on the list,certified as C-UL by CSA22.2.142),as well as CE that complies with applicable directives.It can be connected to adjacent I/O modules or controllers before or after installation(single module replacement).To reduce electrical noise,please install this measuring device outside at least two slots of the AC power supply.When installing,maintain a minimum clearance of 2 inches in all aspects for adequate ventilation

This module is very useful in temperature applications as thermocouple instruments are specifically designed for temperature measurement.In addition,millivolt signals are typically used for interface sensors.

This module is particularly suitable for measuring temperatures,such as-210…J-type temperature+1200℃-270 K-type+1370℃,-270 T-type+400℃,-270 Type E+1000℃,0+R-type 1768℃,0 S-type+1768℃,+300 Class B:210+1820℃N-type and 0-type+1300℃C-type thermocouple+2315℃.Each analog input can be configured for engineering units,proportionally adjusted to calculate your adaptability and raw/proportional data.

The design of this module has sensing capabilities for open circuit,short circuit,over distance,and sub distance detection,and can be used for each of the six(6)channels.Optional input filters can also be used for stable measurements.The optional input filters include 10 Hz,50 Hz,60 Hz,250 Hz,500 Hz,and 1 kHz.

This module does not require external power.It occupies a slot in the chassis and receives 5VDC and 24VDC power from the communication bus.
