The Allen Bradley 1336-BDB-SP17D PCB gate driver board is a PCB gate driver board designed specifically for use with Allen Bradley 1336 PLUS,FORCE,IMPACT,and PLUS II drivers,located directly below the main control board of the 1336 driver.Its purpose is to amplify the low current input from the basic driver board power board.The 1336-BDB-SP17D gate driver board is designed for 460V AC(three-phase)operating voltage,with a rated power of 40HP on the board.It has 7 jumper connectors labeled J2,J6,J7,J8,J9,J10,and J13,used to connect to the main control board of the 1336 driver.The PCB gate driver board is named T4,T6,and T7,and is used together with TB4 as a 24V DC auxiliary input.
Follow the steps below to install 1336-BDB-SP17D on the main control board installation board of the frequency converter.(1)Connect 1336-BDB-SP17D to the bracket,(2)rotate 8 bracket screws in a 1/4 clockwise direction to secure the PCB board to the main mounting board with a tightening torque of 26 pound inches(3N-m),(3)connect the J2 to J13 connectors to the 1336-BDB-SP17D PCB gate drive board,(4)connect the main control board(with the PCB gate drive board installed)to the driver,and then open the driver for operation.Use a tester to test the good working conditions of 1336-BDB-SP17D and the open circuit conditions of fuses F1 and F3 on the gate drive board.The board is also tested by setting the test meter to diode mode and testing VR1 to VR6,and comparing the readings on the test meter with those on the standard meter.
