Bently 3500/25 is an enhanced keyphase module developed by Bently Nevada.The following is a detailed introduction to the module:

I.Product Overview

Bently 3500/25 is a half-height dual-channel module that is mainly used to transmit keyphase signals to the monitor module in the 3500 rack.When the keyphaser mark on the shaft is aligned with the keyphaser sensor,the module is able to detect the alignment using a magnetic sensor or proximity probe and convert the input signal into a digital keyphaser signal.

II.Technical Features

Dual-channel design:

The module has two independent input channels that can receive input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups.

Signal conversion:

Convert the received analog signal into a digital keyphase signal for subsequent digital processing and analysis.

High-precision measurement:

It can accurately measure the time when the keyphaser mark on the rotating shaft or gear passes through the keyphaser probe,providing accurate time measurement data.

Wide compatibility:

Seamlessly integrate with other modules and devices in the 3500 series to build a complete mechanical protection system.

Supports multiple communication protocols,convenient for data exchange and sharing with other systems or devices.

Industrial-grade design:

Adopting industrial-grade design,it has excellent anti-interference ability and stability,and can operate stably for a long time in harsh industrial environments.

III.Input and output

Input signal range:

For non-isolated I/O modules,the input signal range is+0.8V to-21.0V.

For isolated I/O modules,the input signal range is+5V to-11V.

Signals outside this range will be limited by the module internally.

Output:

Two buffered key signal outputs are provided through coaxial connectors at the front of the rack.

Two buffered key phase outputs are also provided through European connectors at the rear of the rack.

The maximum output impedance of the buffer is 504Ω.

IV.Application and configuration

Application:

Bently 3500/25 modules are widely used in the field of rotating machinery protection and monitoring in the power,petrochemical,metallurgical and other industries.

Used together with sensors,monitors and other control system components,they can jointly realize all-round monitoring and protection of rotating machinery.

Configuration:

In the 3500 Mechanical Protection System,up to four Keyphasor signals can be accepted in normal configuration and up to eight Keyphasor signals can be accepted in paired configuration.

Each Keyphasor module can accept up to two sensor signals from proximity probe sensors or magnetic pickups.
