I.Product Overview
The BENTLY 3500/53 electronic overspeed detection system provides a high reliability,fast response and redundant tachometer system,which is ideal for overspeed protection systems.It complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s standards for overspeed protection,such as API 670 and 612,ensuring that alarm signals can be issued quickly and accurately when the machinery is overspeeding,thereby protecting the equipment from damage.
II.Technical Features
Signal Input:
Each overspeed detection module can accept a single sensor signal from a proximity probe sensor or a magnetic pickup.
The input signal range is+10.0V to-24.0V,and signals outside this range are limited within the module.
Sensor Support:
Supports a variety of sensor types including Bently Nevada 3300 8mm Proximitor,16mm HTPS,7200 5mm,8mm,11mm and 14mm Proximitor,and 3300 RAM Proximitor or magnetic pickup.
LED Indicators:
OK LED:Indicates if the 3500/53 module is operating properly.
TX/XR LED:Indicates that the 3500/53 module is communicating with other modules on the 3500 rack.
BENTLY 3500/53
Bypass LED:Indicates that the 3500/53 module is in bypass mode.
Test Mode LED:Indicates that the 3500/53 module is in test mode.
Alarm LED:Indicates that the associated relay is in alarm.

The operating temperature range is-30°C to+65°C(-22°F to+149°F).
The storage temperature range is-40°C to+85°C(-40°F to+185°F).
