I.Product Overview

BENTLY 3500/25 is a half-height,dual-channel module that is mainly used to transmit keyphase signals to the monitor module in the 3500 rack.When the keyphaser mark on the shaft is aligned with the keyphaser sensor,the module uses a magnetic sensor or proximity probe to detect the alignment and converts the input signal into a digital keyphaser signal.

II.Main Features

Dual-channel design:BENTLY 3500/25 has two input channels that can receive keyphase signals from two different sensors,improving the reliability and flexibility of the system.

Digital signal conversion:The module is able to convert the received analog keyphaser signal into a digital signal for subsequent processing and monitoring.

High-precision timing measurement:With one or more event pulses(keyphasor signals)per revolution of a rotating shaft or gear,the BENTLY 3500/25 is able to provide precise timing measurements,enabling accurate monitoring of shaft speed and vector characteristics.

Backward compatibility:The module provides higher Keyphasor signal processing capabilities than previous designs while maintaining full backward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules for legacy systems in terms of form,fit,and function.

Multiple configuration options:Users can choose different configuration options such as isolated I/O modules and non-isolated I/O modules according to actual needs.The isolated I/O module is suitable for occasions that require isolation from other systems(such as control systems).

III.Technical specifications

Input signal range:

The input signal range of the non-isolated I/O module is+0.8V to 21.0V.

The input signal range of the isolated I/O module is+5V to-11V.

Signals outside this range are internally limited by the module.

Output impedance:The maximum output impedance of the buffer is 504 ohms.

Power Requirements:The power supply for the KeyPhase sensor is-24Vdc,40mA maximum per channel.

Mounting Requirements:In order to be installed in a full-height slot,the half-height main module requires a unique mounting adapter.Users can insert the main module into any of the 14 accessible slots.There can be only two main modules in each rack,one each in the top and bottom half slots.

Operating Temperature:

-30 degrees Celsius to+65 degrees Celsius(when used with the non-internal barrier version of the KeyPhase I/O module).

0 degrees Celsius to+65 degrees Celsius(when used with the KeyPhase internal barrier I/O module(internal termination)).

Storage Temperature:-40 degrees Celsius to+85 degrees Celsius.

Humidity:95%,non-condensing.
