1.Product Overview

TRICON 3009,as the high-performance main processor module of the Tricon series,has technical features such as high fault tolerance,programmability and process control.It adopts triple-module redundant structure(TMR)to ensure stable operation in harsh industrial environments.

2.Main features

Triple module redundant structure(TMR):

The TRICON 3009 has three identical subcircuits,each performing an independent degree of control.

This structure can significantly improve the reliability and fault tolerance of the system,ensuring that the system can still operate normally when a single sub-circuit fails.

High performance processor:

This module is equipped with a high-performance 32-bit microprocessor(such as MPC860)with a main frequency of 50MHz.

16MB of DRAM(with battery backup)provides ample storage space to support complex control algorithms and data processing.

Fault-tolerant internal processor bus(TRIBUS):

The TRIBUS bus runs at 25MHz and uses 32-bit CRC protection to achieve complete DMA isolation.

This ensures communication reliability and data integrity between internal processors.

Supports up to 118 I/O modules(analog and digital)and optional communication modules.

Each I/O module is equipped with three microprocessors responsible for input filtering,output data voting and hardware fault diagnosis.

Remote I/O support:

Can support remote I/O modules up to 12 kilometers away from the mainframe.

This enables TRICON 3009 to be flexibly applied to industrial control systems of all sizes.

Comprehensive online diagnostic and repair capabilities:

Comprehensive online diagnostics and repair capabilities are provided,allowing routine maintenance to be performed without interrupting the control process.

Provides”hot standby”support for I/O modules to ensure service is still available during emergencies.

Easy to program and maintain:

Develop and debug control programs using programming software based on Windows NT systems.

Supports SOE data collection and timestamp functions to facilitate fault analysis and system debugging.
