Multiple operating modes

The governor provides three normal operating modes:configuration mode,operation mode and calibration mode.Configuration mode is used for initial configuration of the equipment;operation mode allows normal operation from startup to shutdown;calibration mode is used for calibration and adjustment of the equipment.

Woodward 8200-1302 has an automatic start sequence for hot and cold starts with temperature input options.

Critical speed avoidance function on three speed bands is provided to ensure that the steam turbine operates within a safe range.

Equipped with ten external alarm inputs and ten external DI trip inputs,as well as trip indication of trip and alarm events with associated RTC timestamps,the safety and reliability of the equipment are improved.

Communication and Remote Monitoring

The speed regulator supports Modbus communication protocol,which facilitates data exchange and remote monitoring with other devices.

It also supports Ethernet communication for connecting to plant DCS,service tools and RemoteView operator control panel.

Equipped with CANOpen actuator connection,it can be used for Woodward VariStroke actuators and DSLC-II power management network.

The speed regulator has an IACS UR E10 type housing(commercial marine use)to provide a certain degree of physical protection.
