2.Main functions

Motor protection:By learning and applying motor parameters(such as inrush current,cooling rate,and acceleration time),the 369 relay can provide optimal motor protection when other relays cannot provide protection.It can use FlexCurve™custom overload curves or one of 15 standard curves to adapt to different motor protection needs.

Monitoring function:The 369 relay has powerful monitoring functions and can monitor up to 12 RTDs(thermal resistors),which can come from stators,bearings,environment,or drive equipment.The type of RTD used can be selected by software.

Communications and Setup:The relay is equipped with one RS232 front panel port and three RS485 rear ports,with Modbus RTU protocol being the standard protocol for all ports.The user can enter set points via the front panel keypad or using the EnerVista 369 setup software and a computer.Status,actual values,and troubleshooting information are also available via the front panel display or communications.

Metering and Outputs:The optional metering package provides VT inputs for voltage and power elements and provides metering such as V,kW,kvar,kVA,PF,Hz,and MWhrs.This option also includes three additional user-configurable analog outputs,as well as one analog output as part of the base unit.
