IC698CPE030 is a PACSystems RX7i controller.It is manufactured by Emerson Automation,previously by GE Intelligent Platform(GE IP).The main feature of this controller is two(2)Ethernet communication ports;One(1)RS232 port;One(1)RS485 port and one(1)station manager port.It has a 600MHz Pentium M microprocessor,as well as 64 MB RAM and 64 MB flash memory.It can accommodate up to 32K bit discrete I/O and 32K word analog I/O.The supported Ethernet protocols include SRTP,Modbus TCP server and client,Ethernet Global Data(EGD),while the supported serial protocols include Modbus RTU Slave,SNP,and serial I/O.It also has a built-in network server and FTP,allowing up to 16 connections at a time.
IC698CPE030 is one of the most advanced central processing units(CPUs)in the PACSystem RX7i of programmable automation controllers(PACs).This CPU is designed to meet the modern automation,connectivity,and integration requirements of the industry.PACSystem RX7i was previously manufactured by GE Intelligent Platform(GE IP),but was recently acquired by Emerson Automation,and PACSystem RX7i is now part of the latter.
The IC698CPE030 processor is equipped with a computer grade microprocessor,namely a 600MHz Pentium M microprocessor,with 64 MB of user memory and 64 MB of user flash memory.Its Boolean execution speed is 0.069ms per 1000 Boolean contacts/coils.This CPU can accommodate up to 32K bit discrete I/O and 32K word analog I/O.Up to 512 program blocks can be downloaded to the CPU,with each block having a maximum of 128 KB of memory.
IC698CPE030 also has two(2)Ethernet communication ports that can automatically sense network transmission speed and can be configured for half duplex and full duplex operation modes.The built-in network server and File Transfer Protocol(FTP)function can be accessed through these Ethernet ports,allowing users to remotely monitor and configure processors.In addition to the built-in Ethernet port,

The GE Fanuc IC698CPE030 CPU supports series 90-70 discrete and analog I/O modules,communication modules,VME modules supported by series 90-70,as well as various programmers and HMI modules.The rated voltage of the IC698CPE030 CPU is+5,+12,or-12 volts DC,and the rated current of the backplane is 3.4 amperes at 5 volts DC.The IC698CPE030 CPU has an isolated RS-485 serial port,an RS-232 serial port,and a dedicated RS-232 Ethernet website manager port.The IC698CPE030 CPU also has dual embedded Ethernet(10/100 MB)ports,providing Ethernet Global Data(EGD)data exchange,TCP/IP high-speed data transmission,supporting Modbus/TCP servers,Modbus/TCP clients,and SRTP channel protocols,and can communicate with programmers and HMI devices.
