The PM904F 3BDH001002R0001 ABB Central Processing Unit(CPU)module is equipped with a high-performance processor for multitasking and fast cycle time execution.It provides greater flexibility,redundancy options for high availability,and approximately 1500 I/O power supplies through a pluggable SD card.It is equipped with four onboard 100 Mbit/s Ethernet connections for communication between controllers,operator stations,and engineering tools.Two serial line interfaces can be used for Modbus communication and/or remote control.The third serial interface is reserved for diagnostic purposes and wireless clock connection.

PM904F 3BDH001002R0001 ABBCPU has 48 MB of memory,of which 16 MB is a backup battery.For demanding applications,eight cyclic and priority driven tasks with adjustable cycle times can be configured,as well as cyclic PLC type tasks that run as quickly as possible.The additional available display unit TD 951F directly displays status and diagnostic information on the module.The operation mode can be modified through the switches on the front panel.It can prevent the controller from downloading applications and firmware to enhance security.If the controller is locked or unlocked,the status will be displayed on the display screen.The S700 I/O module can be directly plugged into the I/O bus interface on the right side of the CPU module.A controller can connect up to 10 direct I/O modules.The communication speed between the CPU and the local S700 I/O module is very fast.The I/O scan time can be 2 ms.Each channel achieves short circuit and broken wire detection.The four coupler bus slots on the left can be assigned fieldbus interface modules.The PM 904F can be equipped with up to four PROFIBUS modules.Third party I/O can be remotely controlled through MODBUS ASCII/RTU,IEC 60870-5-101 protocol,or connected via PROFIBUS.
