SCXI-1304 is a high-quality wiring board designed specifically for reliable signal coupling in SCXI systems.

SCXI-1304(part number:777687-04)is the SCXI series wiring terminal of National Instruments.This AC/DC coupling terminal block can be used in conjunction with SCXI-1140,SCXI-1141/1142/1143,SCXI-1120/D,and SCXI-1125 modules.In addition to AC/DC coupling,this model also has BNC connectors and signal grounding references,which can be configured for each channel.There are 22 screw terminals on NI SCXI-1304 for easy signal connection.Users can use eight pairs of screw terminals to connect signals to eight module inputs,and use one pair of screw terminals to connect to module analog ground.The other four screw terminals can access the digital grounding and digital signal of the module.For SCXI-1140,these signals are HOLDTRIG.However,for SCXI-1141/1142/1143,these signals are OUTCLK and EXTCLK.

When the National Instruments SCXI 1304 terminal block is used with SCXI-1120/D,SCXI-1125,or SCXI-1126,if the bias resistor is in the engaged setting,the channel isolation specification is invalid.The user must keep the resistor switch in an open or G grounded setting in order to maintain effective isolation.

NI SCXI-1304 can configure each channel for AC or DC coupling through switch settings.Each channel requires two switches located in the same position to ensure accurate operation of the coupling circuit.For AC coupling,the user must specify two switches as AC settings,which will place the unipolar high pass filter in the path of the positive and negative channel inputs.On the other hand,for DC coupling,users must set both switches to the DC position.This eliminates the filters in the signal path and directly connects the screw terminals to the module input.
