SCXI-1124 is a multifunctional analog output module designed for use in SCXI systems.It allows users to generate accurate analog signals for a wide range of applications.

SCXI-1124(part number:776572-24)is a 6-channel isolated analog output module used for static DC(low bandwidth)voltage or current signals.The maximum update rate for one channel is 555 S/s,and the maximum update rate for all six channels is 125 S/s per channel.The NI SCXI-1124 includes six independently isolated 12 bit to analog converter(DAC)channels.Users can arrange the voltage or current output for each channel.For voltage,users can choose from any available range of three unipolar or three bipolar.For current,each channel outputs 0 to 20 mA.

The analog output module can be configured through software and includes locally available EEPROMs for saving calibration constants.This module is very suitable for applications that require limited voltage or current output to control processes.For more channels,users can use some NI SCXI 1124 modules and other signal conditioning I/O modules in the SCXI framework.

Using this module,users can program software for each channel to obtain the following voltage output ranges:0 to 1,0 to 5,0 to 10,±1,±5,or±10 V.Within a single module,users can gradually associate channels to achieve an output signal of up to 60 VDC for each module.Each voltage channel contains a low impedance output buffer that can drive currents up to 5 mA.

SCXI-1124 runs using NI-DAQmx driver software,which is compatible with software packages/application development environments(ADEs)such as LabVIEW,LabWindows/CVI,or Measurement Studio.

SCXI-1124 is digitized through SCXIbus,so a single DAQ tool can control multiple NI SCXI-1124 modules.In multiplexing serial mode,a DAQ tool utilizes serial computerized information conventions to control at least one SCXI-1124 module through the SCXI bus.This activity method utilizes up to 5 computerized I/O cables from module DAQ devices.The device is equipped with a 48 pin DIN C male front connector and a 50 pin male ribbon cable rear connector.The physical dimensions of the NI device are 1.2 x 6.8 x 8.0 inches.
