IC698PSA100D is a power module that is part of the PACSystem RX7i platform.It is currently under Emerson Automation and was previously produced by GE Intelligent Platform(GE IP).This power supply is installed on the RX7i universal backplane.Its input voltage range is 85 to 264 VAC,47 to 63 Hz,and 100-150VDC,with a maximum input power of 125 watts(typical value)and 150 watts(maximum value).The maximum output power of all three(3)outputs(such as 5 VDC,12 VDC,and-12 VDC)is 100 watts,with output currents of 0-20 amperes,0-2 amperes,and 0-1 amperes,respectively.
IC698PSA100 is a PACSystem RX7i power module manufactured by Emerson Automation(formerly part of GE Intelligent Platform(GE IP)).This power module is installed in the leftmost slot of any RX7i standard rack,especially slot 0.It is equipped with screw type input terminals,designed for input voltage ranges of 85 to 264 VAC(nominal voltage 120/240 VAC),frequencies of 47 to 63 Hz and 100-150VDC(nominal voltage 125 VDC).External power connections must use AWG#16(1.3 mm2)solid copper wire or twisted copper wire with an insulation grade of 75°C(167°F).For grounding connections,please use#12(3.3 mm2)copper wire with insulation grade of 75°C(167°F).Proper termination of grounding connections can significantly eliminate(if not present)system noise.
The maximum output power of IC698PSA100D is 100 watts,which is the total power of all three(3)output terminals and can provide 4.875 to 5.25 volts,0-20 amperes,5.1 VDC(nominal value);11.64 to 12.6 volts,0-2 amperes,+12 VDC,nominal value and-12.60 to-11.64 volts,0-1 amperes,-12 VDC,nominal value.The riding time(minimum)of this power module is 15 milliseconds,and the holding time(minimum)is 5 milliseconds.It also has active overvoltage and overcurrent limitations,especially overvoltage protection of 5.7 to 6.7 volts at+5VDC+21A at 5 VDC output+2.5A at 12 VDC output and 3.5A at-12 VDC output.
The operating temperature of this power module is from 0°C to 60°C(32°to 140°F),with an isolation rating of 1500 VDC.
