The IS220PDOAH1A GE discrete output module is a discrete output packaging.Its main function is to provide an electrical interface between two input/output Ethernet and a discrete output terminal board.The PDOA package can control up to 12 relays,plus receive feedback specific to the terminal board.

Based on the characteristics of discrete output packets,an IS220Pdoah1A model was designed for two I/O Ethernet networks with the most interfaces and other discrete output terminal boards.A special feature of this model is that it can control up to 12 relays and receive feedback signals from other end boards.The typical relays that this model can use are solid-state relays and electromagnetic relays.Solid state relays are used with Trlyh1B,C,D,and F terminals,while electromagnetic relays are used with Trlyh1E boards.The input received on this package is through dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors and a three pin power input.

A processor board is embedded in the IS220Pdoah1A package.There are multiple processors,including but not limited to status indicator LEDs,local power supplies for monitoring and sorting,high-speed processors including flash and memory,etc.All information on the processor can be found in the GEH-721G Mark VIE Control System Guide,which can be found on pages 223 to 230.

There is an output enable function that is used with the IS220Pdoah1A package.In applications that grant permissions to packages,all outputs will be disabled until some internal self testing is completed.Enabling the function can provide a path independent of the command to ensure that the relay remains exited during package initialization and startup.
