The TPMC871-10 TEWS PCMCIA PMC interface module is used to connect PCMCIA devices and PMC devices.

Tews Technologies TPMC871 is a standard single width 32-bit PMC module with an interface for 16 bit PC cards or 32-bit Cardbus cards using PC card controllers and power management units.The register mapping of the PC card controller is compatible with Intel 82365-DF.

The power management unit provides 3.3V or 5.0V PC card power supply and 3.3V,5.0V or 12V PC card programming voltage.Due to short circuits and thermal protection in the power management unit,external fuses are not required on the module.

TPMC871 provides a complete ExCA register implementation for a 16 bit PC card compatible with PCMCIA 2.1/JEIDA 4.2 standards.Supports both memory cards and I/O cards.PC card 16 can access up to five memory windows and two I/O windows.For 32-bit Cardbus cards,the controller supports two memory windows and two I/O windows.Cardbus card status information can be accessed in five Cardbus slot registers,which can be mapped to the host memory space.
