Allen Bradley 1336-BDB-SP34C PCB(printed circuit board)is a discontinued gate driver board.It is a replacement part of the Allen Bradley 1336(Force,Impact,Plus,Plus II,and REGEN)driver component series.The 1336-BDB-SP34C gate drive board provides gate control for SCR,which is located between the main frame and the main control board of the host driver.The 1336-BDB-SP34C gate driver board is backward compatible and can be used as a suitable alternative to the 1336-BDB-SP37-A/B board.This board is designed specifically for 1336 Plus II,Plus,Impact,and Force drivers,with a rated AC input voltage of 460 volts and a total rated power of 150 horsepower.This drive is compatible with E-Frame drives and supports all shell levels.
The 1336-BDB-SP34C PCB assembly kit includes a spare board and installation tools.In general,it is recommended to test the gate drive board after replacing the power module.To test the gate driver board,use a test table set to resistance mode to test the open circuit of fuses F1 and F3 on the board.To install the 1336-BDB-SP37C PCB,turn off the power and check if the voltage at the terminals(-DC and+DC)is zero and if there is no control voltage.Remove the main control board and remove the old door drive board.Connect the 6 jumper connectors(J2 and J6 to J10)and a single fan connector to the new gate drive board.Reconnect the main control board and restore power to the drive.
