In the medical field, GE Wuxi factory is the world’s largest ultrasound equipment production base, providing over 40% of GE’s global sales of ultrasound products; GE’s magnetic resonance imaging system production base in Tianjin provides control systems for over 50% of GE’s global sales of magnetic resonance products; And 60% of GE’s global sales of 64 row and below CT’s come from GE Healthcare’s Beijing factory. In China, CFM56 engines from CFM International (a joint venture between GE and Safran Engine Company) are widely used in commercial narrow body aircraft. In China, GE Gas Power provides services to over 200 gas turbine units from over 100 customers, with an installed capacity of 46 gigawatts. GE Gas Power has a history of over 125 years and leading technology, making it the earliest international gas turbine manufacturer and service provider to enter China. GE’s 9HA.01, 9HA.02, and 7HA.03 gas turbine units currently have the ability to burn 50% hydrogen, providing a practical and feasible path for further carbon reduction and addressing climate change.

GE has developed variable speed pumped storage units, improving water resource utilization efficiency. Currently, GE has sufficient production and manufacturing capabilities in pumped storage, with two major production bases in Brazil and Tianjin, China. Among them, Tianjin is GE’s largest hydroelectric production base in the world. GE’s hydropower production base in Tianjin can produce approximately 26 sets of water turbine generator units annually. With the scale of the Tianjin factory, the annual output can reach 6 power plants.
